Changes for some Cisco certifications

On May 27, 2025, Cisco announced significant changes to some of its certifications. You can watch the recording here.

At the same time, they announced that the Cisco Networking Academy, Cisco U., Cisco Learning Network and Cisco Certifications will join forces and work together under an umbrella called Learn with Cisco. DevNet Certifications

As of February 3, 2026, DevNet certifications will change. The track will be named Automation, and it will contain three certification levels:

DevNet Certifications
  • CCNA Automation
  • CCNP Automation
  • CCIE Automation

The holders of the current DevNet certifications will automatically be migrated to CCNA, CCNP, and CCIE Automation.

Cybersecurity Certifications

The Cybersecurity certifications will change their name. The new name will align with the Enterprise track.

Cybersecurity Certifications
  • CCNA Cybersecurity
  • CCNP Cybersecurity

The change will take place on February 3, 2026. There will be no changes to the exam topics. The holders of the current Cybersecurity certification can access the updated badge on their profile on the Cisco Certification Tracking System platform.
